Artistic Influences

Simon is influenced by many other artists and indeed through other artistic mediums. Music, theatre, costume, film, illustration, literature, and also other visual art, design and crafts, such as textiles, ceramics, fashion, interior design, furniture, architecture, etc.

Many of these influences are 'translated' into Simon's own artistic practice and can be seen in the unique visual 'language' that he has developed during more four decades of painting.
